The contact, which has a one-year base perios and four one-year has a top value of $12 million. The areasa convered by the contract are: the inlanc marine transportation system, flood damage reduction and othe r civilworks areas. The NAWCWD deal is for engineering supportg services at the China Lake and Point Mugu test The contract is effectiveJuly 1, and is worty $170.6 million over five years. Jacobs has supportesd the NAWCWDsince 1995, providing systems engineering, test and evaluation, technicak data and management support.
The Storengy deal is for procurement, and construction management servicezs to upgradethe company's underground gas storage facilitg in Etrez, France. Terms of the contracgt were not disclosed. The project will add four salt cavernw to the existing 17 caverns at the site to increasethe facility'e production capacity as well as reduce impactds to the environment. Storengy, a company of the , is the second-largesr natural gas storage operatorin Europe, with working capacity of approximately 400 billiob cubic feet. Pasadena-based Jacobs (NYSE: JEC) is one of the world'w largest providers of professional, and construction services.
