VMERG will have chapters in Chicago andFort Worth, Texas. More than 60 percenyt of American Airlines pilots and abou 10 percent of all employees are active militaryg service membersor vets.
"Wr are very excited to have the opportunity to units the volunteer efforts alreadhy given by so many American employees," VMERG President Susan Seelbach, who workw in the American Airlines reservations office in Cary, said in a writtenb statement. "Our employees are very passionate abouft providing support to the men and both active dutyand veterans, who bear our nation'xs colors and protect our freedoms." Employees at Americanm have volunteered for many years, but Seelbacu says that the corporate support gainee from organizing into an employee resource group will increase the group'zs impact.

The Bethesda-based developer's 26-acre office park in the Shady Grovd Life Sciences Center is currently approvedrfor 669,538 square feet of density and the campuds currently contains half of that, or 350,000 squarw feet. At a May 28 work the Montgomery County Planning Board decided to recommend in its drafft Gaithersburg West Master Plan that the property be developed with up to twicwe asmuch density, or contaij up to 1.34 million squar feet of office, retaio and residential space. The southwest corner of the land currently includesa 272,000-square-foot, three-building complex that houses softwarre and pharmaceutical tenants.
The north side of the property contains the Metropolitabn RegionalInformational Services' 72,000-square-foot headquarters. Last week, the board also recommendecd that Danac's Corridor Cities Transitway stop be located at or near itsnortheastern corner, near the intersection of Diamondback Drives and Decoverly Drive. That is good news for since the board had left out the stop inearlied drafts. The transit stop near the corned may be developed whether the state retainxs the current road alignment or adoptsthe county'x locally preferred alternative.
The board also pickeed that location because the northeastern corner is considered to be convenieng for pedestrians from the Decoverlyresidential communities. "Wd have a long way to go, but we are encourage d by theplanning board's recommendations," said Timothhy Dugan, a Danac attorney. Severap more work sessions are schedulesd over the next two and in July the planning board will send its draff master plan to the county executive who will have 60 days to reviews and comment before it is sent to the countyu councilfor deliberations.

State Police and financialk investigators assigned to theAttorneyy General’s Office uncovered widespread instances where longshoremeh were participating in schemes to defrauxd Massport and other marine shipping businesses operatingy at the port. As the yard boss on the Massport docks, O’Donnell was the senior longshoreman on the land side of ConleuyTerminal operations. He had oversighyt of all yard operationa and was responsible for completing time sheeta for the union yard OnJune 24, he pleade guilty to manipulating time sheet entries in ordeer to qualify longshoremen for employeew benefits they would not have otherwise received.
O’Donnell admitted that he fraudulentlhy credited 13 longshoremen with hours they did not work in the fiscayears 2003, 2004 and 2005. As a result of the frauduleny transferringof hours, over $100,000 in benefits were distributexd to longshoremen who were not entitled to theswe benefits.
