AMP-Ohio said Wednesday the regulator issued the final air permit for a proposed generating plant inMeigs County. The $2.9 billion project is expected to employ 800to 1,000 workers durintg construction and employ abouf 150 once the plant is operating. An AMP-Ohipo spokesman said the company has other permitas pending with the EPA and other but the project is scheduled to begin construction in 2009 and go onlinein 2013.
